Their expertise includes not only preventative health care and treatment of minor injuries, but also your first point of contact for all disease groups.  Our Physician's are constantly updating their training thus ensuring current medical practices are utilized daily. 

The doctor-patient relationship is a focal point for primary care in family medicine. Our Physicians view themselves as partners to their patients, thus enabling patient involvement in the management of each patients own healthcare.

Electronic Medical Records

Kootenay Medical Centre utilizes a high functioning Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for our storage of patient records. This ensures secure, accurate and updated individual patient records for all our patients and enables our physicians to manage patient health in a speedy, secure and efficient manner. Additionally, our physicians access lab and test results electronically, providing added effectiveness for both the physician and the patient.
